Welcome

Enduring Image has grown from a childhood fascination with photography starting about fifty years ago. Over the years many hours in the darkroom eventually gave way to digital capture and editing.

I am motivated to create images that impart an emotional response from viewers. My goal is to create beautiful images that also stimulate thought and discussion of our environment and the human condition.

Enjoy!

"F.A.R.M.: Food, Art, Revolution, Media – A Focus on Photography to Re-vitalize Agriculture and Strengthen Democracy" Note cards for "good" food.

"Farm Hands" note cards are here! Due to repeated requests, and our desire to share farmers' images and wisdom, we have produced a series of eight note cards highlighting sustainable farmers' most  vital tools -- their hands.  The inside is blank for your personal creative expression. The back shows the featured farmer and a snippet of their farming philosophy.  See images below:

Cards are available at retail outlets  in Columbia, MO at Bluestem Missouri Crafts and the Columbia Art League and in Madison, WI at the Chazen Museum of Art Museum Shop. For quantity discounts on 24 or more cards, please contact me via email at hemmelgarndan@gmail.com.

In solidarity for "good" food, and a healthy environment for future generations,
